EagleClaw Midstream Donates Computers For Students In Houston Area

COMPANY SAYS ITS DONATION WILL HELP STUDENTS IN NEED OF COMPUTERS TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ONLINE LEARNING IN HOUSTON

Houston, Tex., (September 21, 2020) – EagleClaw Midstream today announced it has donated 16 computers for students to use for online education through its partnership with Comp-U-Dot’s technology donation program for students.

“Parenting is hard at the best of times and even more so now during this pandemic. Everyone with school age children is challenged now with online learning given the impacts of COVID-19. By donating computers, we are glad to help ease the burden for some parents,” said Jamie Welch, President and CEO, EagleClaw Midstream.

The company said the $7,500 donation of computers will enable students to keep up with studies while helping them gain valuable technology skills that will benefit them in future careers.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, EagleClaw Midstream has continued to step up its level of community involvement in Houston and west Texas where most of its physical operations are located, said Welch.

In the last six months, the company has donated $50,000 to Midland area hospitals to purchase personal protective equipment; donated $5,000 to Jonah’s House Food Pantry in Carlsbad, New Mexico; provided free coffee to teachers, healthcare workers, fire fighters, law enforcement personnel and first responders in Midland; donated an electrostatic sprayer to a school district in west Texas; donated 4,000 bottles of water to firefighters in west Texas; and, the company and its employees have raised more than $33,000 for the West Texas Food Bank.
