Every member of the EagleClaw Midstream team is an employee, not a contractor. Our visionary, expansion-minded senior management team has decades of collective experience in the Permian Basin and is dedicated to providing top tier service and reliability for our customers.

Jamie Welch | President & Chief Executive Officer

Jamie Welch serves as President & Chief Executive Officer of EagleClaw Midstream Ventures, LLC. Mr. Welch currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cheniere Energy Partners GP, LLC. Prior to joining EagleClaw, he was the Group Chief Financial Officer and Head of Business Development for the Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (“ETE”) family from June 2013 to February 2016. Mr. Welch also served on the Board of Directors of ETE, Energy Transfer Partners and Sunoco Logistics from June 2013 to February 2016.

Before joining ETE, Mr. Welch was Head of the EMEA Investment Banking Department and Head of the Global Energy Group at Credit Suisse. He was also a member of the Investment Banking Division Global Management Committee and the EMEA Operating Committee. Mr. Welch joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 1997 from Lehman Brothers Inc. in New York, where he was a Senior Vice President in the global utilities and project finance group. Prior to that he was an attorney in New York with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a barrister and solicitor with Minter Ellison in Melbourne, Australia.

Matt Wall | Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Wall joined EagleClaw in July, 2017. His industry experience has focused on midstream gas gathering/processing design and commissioning, as well as on operational support engineering. He is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of EagleClaw’s measurement, gathering and processing facilities.

Most recently, Mr. Wall served as Manager of Engineering at Aka Energy Group LLC. His team of Engineers, GIS, CAD and Construction specialists were responsible for capital project design and execution as well as operational engineering support for the company’s midstream assets in northern Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas Panhandle Area and SE New Mexico.

Prior to Aka Energy, Mr. Wall was a Sr. Process Engineer at BCCK Engineering, responsible for process design and commissioning for company’s EPC projects. His career in midstream began as a Project Engineer at Southern Union Gas Services, where he performed design engineering and project management for expansion and operational projects. He also worked closely with commercial gas supply to provide various engineering evaluations for system expansions.
Mr. Wall received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University.

Steve Stellato | Chief Accounting Officer

Steve Stellato serves as Chief Accounting Officer of EagleClaw Midstream Ventures, LLC.  He has significant experience leading teams in accounting, finance, treasury, tax and mergers and acquisitions as well as in investor relations, and he has spent nearly a decade working with publicly traded MLPs.

Most recently, Mr. Stellato served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of CST Brands and CrossAmerica Partners until 2017. He also served as Vice President and Controller of Energy Transfer Partners, LP for six years. Prior to joining Energy Transfer, he was a Senior Manager with the public accounting firm KPMG LLP, where he focused on clients in the energy industry.

Mr. Stellato is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the CGMA designation, as well as a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Todd Carpenter | General Counsel

Todd Carpenter serves as General Counsel of EagleClaw Midstream Ventures. He has more than 25 years’ experience in all phases of commercial and international law, with representation in the energy, manufacturing and real estate industries. His specialties include M & A, energy law, commercial and financial transactions, real estate, information technology, international trade and compliance.

Most recently, Mr. Carpenter held several roles for the Energy Transfer group, including Associate General Counsel for Energy Transfer Partners, General Counsel for Regency Energy Partners and Penntex Midstream, and Manager of ETP’s LNG business. He also previously served as Associate General Counsel for Southern Union Company, Senior Counsel for Cooper Industries, and General Counsel for a private real estate and finance company in Tokyo.

Mr. Carpenter holds a BBA in Finance and a JD, both from the University of Texas in Austin.

Alex Marner | Director of Human Resources and Benefits

Alex Marner serves as Director of HR & Benefits at of EagleClaw Midstream Ventures, LLC. Her prior experience is in a variety of human resources roles ranging from full-cycle recruiting to benefits administration, in both the private and public sector. Most recently she worked as the HR Supervisor for PennTex Midstream Partners, LP supporting the corporate office and field assets. Prior to that, she was an HR Generalist for Targa Resources.

Alex holds a BSBA in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University and holds her PHR and SHRM – CP.

Kris Kindrick | Vice President of Commercial

Mr. Kindrick joined EagleClaw in July, 2018. Prior to joining EagleClaw, he spent eight years at Energy Transfer in a variety of commercial, marketing and business development roles. Mr. Kindrick served on the marketing and business development team for Energy Transfer’s portfolio of interstate assets, primarily focusing on long-term capacity sales, supply development in the Permian and market development in the desert southwest region.

Most recently he managed the commercial and business development activities for Energy Transfer’s midstream assets in the Permian Basin. He managed the long-term growth of both the Midland and Delaware Basins’ gathering and processing assets, which included commercial development, organic growth, M&A, capital improvement projects, joint ventures and day-to-day commercial operations.

Mr. Kindrick holds a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and a MBA from Rice University. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for The Monarch School and Institute, a non-profit school in Houston dedicated to serving children and young adults with neurological differences.

Tyler A. Milam | Vice President of Commercial

Mr. Milam joined the EagleClaw team in August, 2012 as a project design engineer with responsibilities over pipeline system design, GIS mapping, and crude gathering system and facilities design.

Prior to joining EagleClaw, Mr. Milam worked at BOPCO, L.P., supervising the drilling of vertical and horizontal wells in the Southern Delaware Basin in both Texas and New Mexico. Mr. Milam successfully drilled cost-effective wells by reducing downtime and utilizing a strategic balance between industry-standard practices and newly developing technologies. While at BOPCO, L.P., he also gained experience with various production methods, log interpretation and horizontal completion techniques.

Mr. Milam received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas – Permian Basin. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and is a past president of the Natural Gas Society of the Permian Basin.

Chris Evans | Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Evans joined the EagleClaw team in July 2015. His responsibilities include economic analysis and strategic review of business development opportunities, including acquisitions and greenfield developments, contract review and negotiation, detailed financial modeling, due diligence for financial and strategic transactions, industry research and trends, and financial management.

Prior to joining EagleClaw, Mr. Evans was an Associate at Wells Fargo Securities in the Energy Investment Banking group. During his five years with Wells Fargo Securities, he worked on more than $23.5 billion of closed capital raises and more than $2.1 billion of closed M&A transactions.

He holds a BBA in finance and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business.
