Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Alford join the EagleClaw team in 2016, bringing 30 years of experience in financial operations with various companies in the energy, securities and banking industries, including several years in Europe.
Mr. Alford has supported or led numerous financing and acquisition transactions from small venture capital placements to multibillion dollar acquisitions and has been responsible for the management and strategic direction of commercial support, accounting, reporting and compliance operations for public and private companies operating in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, Australia, China and North Africa.
Prior to EagleClaw, Mr. Alford served as CFO for public companies and divisions of major corporations, including Duke Energy International, East Coast Power, Portland General, Enron Europe and Eastex Energy.
In addition, Mr. Alford’s financial industry experience includes positions with Kemper Securities and its predecessors, Riggs National Bank and as Managing Director of a private equity firm responsible for portfolio management and strategic development across a diverse array of international energy investments.
Mr. Alford received a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in economics and managerial studies from Rice University and has completed Harvard Business School’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Executive Education program.
