Midstream Accounting Manager

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Strong knowledge of midstream gathering and processing business and settlement allocation methods and procedures
  • Interpret & understand midstream contracts including gas, water, crude gathering, processing and transportation
  • Implement contracts, including revenue and cost criteria into settlement system and ensure accurate settlements
  • Strong system knowledge and problem-solving support for complex technical and functional issues
  • Work closely with Commercial and Operations to analyze volume and pricing data and ensure accuracy
  • Analyze revenues & expenses and explain variances between, current, prior months and budget/forecasts
  • Reconcile gross margin accounts related to the Income Statement and Balance Sheet monthly
  • Assist with new business and acquisitions
  • Interface with producers and customers regularly to resolve settlement issues

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in midstream business required
  • Waterfield system experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and produce results under tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Measurement Analyst

The Measurement Analyst supports the Measurement function of the Company by monitoring, editing, and reporting measurement data to assure accurate and complete information is available to both internal and external customers.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitors incoming gas and liquids volume and quality data to assure accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilizes SCADA software tools to monitor “real time” data, screening for issues and working with Third Party measurement data services provider to detect and correct erroneous, invalid and questionable data.
  • Works with IT, Communications, and Measurement Technicians to resolve missing data issues.
  • Uses historical data, flow patterns, and measurement experience to estimate custody transfer data that cannot be recovered.
  • Reviews hourly and daily volume data from meters.
  • Assures proper configuration of new meters in the measurement system, based upon contractual terms.
  • Uses historical data, and knowledge of natural gas properties, to evaluate incoming gas quality data to assure that it is reasonable and representative.
  • Coordinates with the field on resolving sample issues.
  • Maintain, generate, and distribute various reports needed to evaluate the accuracy of measurement data.
  • Compiles and evaluates incoming “third party” measurement data and assures its agreement with check measurement data, where applicable.
  • Maintains, reports, and troubleshoots system balances.
  • Evaluates incoming meter calibration data to determine if a current or prior period adjustment is required by the contract and determines the appropriate course of action.
  • Utilizes advanced measurement knowledge and troubleshooting tools to perform Prior Period Adjustments, creating the required documentation for Accounting controls and Accounting settlements.
  • Provides support, guidance, and training for less experienced measurement analysts.
  • Coordinates the monthly close process for measurement data, assuring the data has been successfully transferred to downstream Accounting systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • FlowCal experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office

I&E Technician

The I&E Technician maintains the controls and electrical systems of the Natural Gas Processing Plant and related pipeline facilities to provide a safe and compliant operations of the assets.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Performs regularly scheduled inspections of the electrical and controls systems to assure proper, safe and compliant operation of the plant and pipeline facilities. Also, identifies and detects any malfunctions/failures of the equipment and takes corrective action to repair.
  • Maintains and records the operating status and maintenance records of the plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains all control and electrical equipment (e.g. electronics, high voltage equipment, pneumatic and mechanical)
  • Performs other activities as required by Operations Management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associates degree in Electrical & Controls technology is preferred
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the areas of operations & maintenance of electrical and controls systems
  • Good communicator, work planner with excellent work ethics and good background in computer applications
  • Must be able to work out doors in extreme weather and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe manner
  • Must be available for call – outs 24 hours/day, 7 days a week, as needed

Field Operator

  • Maintain motor vehicle in good working order and clean.
  • Report and maintain facilities assign to:
    • Take readings of inlet, outlet, and fuel meters.
    • Keep station clean
    • Change filters on Dehydrators
    • Monitor and adjust Fuel Conditioners
    • Gauge Product Tanks and prepare them for Sales
    • Call in for H2O hauling
    • Call in for Condensate hauling
    • Clean Slug Catcher Y-Strainers
    • Monitor Chemical Storage Tanks (Methanol and Glycol)
    • Monitor for H2S with Drager and with H2S analyzer
    • Visual Inspection of Compressors for coolant, gas, and oil leaks
    • Maintain an inventory of assorted filters in storage
  • Monitor and maintain ROW signs, know your area
  • Perform tasks in a safe, timely, and responsible manner
  • Communicates with fellow co-workers, plant personnel, and management
  • Assist with line locates
  • Attends all schedule safety meetings
  • Provides support to co-workers
  • Performs minor equipment repairs as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous pipeline or compressor experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
  • Good communicator, work planner with excellent work ethics and good background in computer applications

Measurement Technician

The Measurement Technician will install, operate and maintain, all measurement equipment safely and in accordance with Company Policy and applicable Industry Standards, to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement data.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operate a Company-owned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of measurement facilities in accordance with industry standards and EagleClaw procedures/policies.
  • Perform / Witness testing and calibration of owned and 3rd party meters.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, operate, maintain, inspect, test, and calibrate electronic flow meters, associated measurement and communications equipment (gas and liquid), control and relief valves.
  • Collect gas and liquid samples in accordance with policy and Industry Standards.
  • Maintain measurement and typical pipeline equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including critical safety and regulatory documentation as it pertains to measurement systems.
  • Perform any and all assigned duties in a safe, professional manner with the utmost integrity and in accordance with all applicable laws and Company policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
  • Must be familiar with orifice meters and electronic flow meters with some gas analysis experience.
  • Some experience with ultrasonic and Coriolis meters preferred.
  • Experience with Gas/Liquid Chromatographs preferred.
  • Competent knowledge of various types of EFMs and test equipment.
    Experience with testing and sampling input software preferred (such as TESTit).
  • Good communicator, work planner with excellent work ethics and good background in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work out doors in extreme weather and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
  • Available for on-call 24/7 as needed.
