Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

This position will manage the preparation and filing of our external financial reports with the SEC and other financial institutions, oversee the preparation of certain internal financial reports, maintain our accounting policies and analyze emerging U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting and reporting requirements.

  • Manage the preparation and filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K (earnings releases, etc.) with the SEC.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of required financial statements to applicable banking institutions.
  • Oversee the preparation of the monthly CODM packet and other internal reports
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company’s financial statements in accordance with the U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards, including preparing financial statements, drafting disclosures and MD&A for both annual and quarterly financial statements.
  • Prepare and manage the quarterly and annual SEC and other statutory reporting with appropriate calendar, including coordination with external auditors, executives, finance, legal and investor relations departments, for the non-financial sections of SEC Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K, review XBRL tagging of financial statements and footnotes.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls surrounding the preparation and filing of SEC documents.
  • Stay current on all U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements and proactively analyze emerging accounting and reporting trends and their implications to EagleClaw.
  • Assist with complex technical accounting matters, including carrying out research and documentation for a variety of complete and non-standard transactions (i.e mergers and acquisitions, debt offerings, and adoption of new standards).
  • Continuously work to enhance and streamline reporting processes and controls.
  • Manage the Company’s lease portfolio and associated lease accounting software.
  • Manage tie-out and support binders for all public filings
  • Complete quarterly disclosure checklists
  • Manage all controls certifications and internal management representation letters
  • Manage/Assist with the quarterly disclosure committee, audit committee and board of director meeting decks
  • Coordinate with both internal and external auditors.
  • Partner with other teams / departments on special projects and ad-hoc requests

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

  •  Bachelor’s Degree, Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 6 years of prior accounting experience including financial reporting or public accounting and at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • 5 years direct experience with SEC reporting, including the development of footnote disclosures & MD&A; Public accounting experience a plus
  • CPA Preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and ability to navigate through accounting/treasury applications
  • Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines, while maintain a high level of detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to produce high quality emails and messages to individuals at all levels of the organization

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Support the department leads and work closely with Commercial and Operations to analyze volume and pricing data to ensure accuracy.

  • Strong knowledge of midstream gathering and processing business and settlement allocation methods and procedures
  • Interpret & understand midstream contracts including gas, water, crude gathering, processing and transportation
  • Implement contracts, including revenue and cost criteria into settlement system and ensure accurate settlements
  • Strong system knowledge and problem-solving support for complex technical and functional issues
  • Work closely with Commercial and Operations to analyze volume and pricing data and ensure accuracy
  • Record all gross margin transactions to the General Ledger for responsible assets
  • Analyze revenues & expenses and explain variances between, current, prior months and budget/forecasts

  • Assist with new business and acquisitions
  • Interface with producers and customers regularly to resolve settlement issues

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis for monthly/quarterly corporate accounting matters, general ledger maintenance, and assisting with the financial reporting process.

  • Responsible for the complete ownership and execution of the month end close tasks including preparation of journal entries for assigned companies
  • Maintain general and supporting sub-ledgers, including their analysis and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations, for assigned companies and accounts.

  •  Creates and/or remediates ITGC (IT General Controls) in support of meeting audit objectives for all ITGC SOX areas.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 2 years in internal or external auditing, with emphasis on IT auditing (SOX)
  • Possess a strong understanding of the GCC areas and the IT governance framework (COBIT) established by ISACA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Measurement Technician will install, operate and maintain, all measurement equipment safely and in accordance with Company Policy and applicable Industry Standards, to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement data.

  • Operate a Company-owned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of measurement facilities in accordance with industry standards and EagleClaw procedures/policies.
  • Perform / Witness testing and calibration of owned and 3rd party meters.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, operate, maintain, inspect, test, and calibrate electronic flow meters, associated measurement and communications equipment (gas and liquid), control and relief valves.
  • Collect gas and liquid samples in accordance with policy and Industry Standards.
  • Maintain measurement and typical pipeline equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including critical safety and regulatory documentation as it pertains to measurement systems.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
  • Must be familiar with orifice meters and electronic flow meters with some gas analysis experience.
    • Some experience with ultrasonic and Coriolis meters preferred.
    • Experience with Gas/Liquid Chromatographs preferred.
  • Competent knowledge of various types of EFMs and test equipment.
  • Experience with testing and sampling input software preferred (such as TESTit).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
  • Available for on-call 24/7 as needed.
  • Outdoor work required with exposure to elements
