Location: Houston, TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will support the Director of Volume Accounting, manage a team of accountants and work closely with Commercial and Operations to analyze volume and pricing data to ensure accuracy

  • Strong knowledge of midstream gathering and processing business and settlement allocation methods and procedures
  • Interpret & understand midstream contracts including gas, water, crude gathering, processing and transportation
  • Strong system knowledge and problem-solving support for complex technical and functional issues
  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
  • Understand and analyze monthly gross margin for gas, crude and water assets
  • Interface with producers and customers regularly to resolve settlement issues
  • Analyze revenues & expenses and explain variances between, current, prior months and budget/forecasts
  • Reconcile gross margin accounts related to the Income Statement and Balance Sheet monthly
  • Prepare and maintain master inventory schedule and create general ledger entries
  • Understand ASC 606 Revenue Recognition requirements and prepare and review entries
  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable subledger to general ledger monthly
  • Maintain weekly AR report and research and reconcile timely
  • Review and approve journal entries of staff
  • Review staff close control reports and gross margins for accuracy
  • Ensure that control environment is functioning properly
  • Assist with new business and acquisitions
  • Interface with external auditors and assist with requests
  • Ad hoc analysis as needed

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 3+ years of Managerial experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in midstream business required
  • Midstream Software experience – Waterfield system experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of midstream gathering and processing business and settlement allocation methods and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and produce results under tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all areas of the organization

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Corrosion Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting cathodic protection and atmospheric corrosion control survey, as well as analyzing corrosion data and implementing a plan of action.

  • Conduct cathodic protection and atmospheric corrosion control surveys.
  • Test, adjust, and maintain existing cathodic protection equipment and testing facilities.
  • Analyze / evaluate corrosion control data and develop/ implement plan of action.
  • Maintain and update corrosion control records.
  • Design and inspect the installation of new cathodic protection equipment and testing facilities.
  • Represent the company on external matters pertaining to corrosion control including request for bonds, interference testing, etc.
  • Analyze corrosion related failures and/ or changes to the system and recommend/ implement corrective action.
  • Train and assist company personnel in matters related to corrosion control.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years corrosion control experience preferred.
  • NACE CP1 preferred
  • 2 years project management experience preferred
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
  • Good communicator with co-workers, supervisors and internal / external customers

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditions
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Measurement Technician will install, operate and maintain, all measurement equipment safely and in accordance with Company Policy and applicable Industry Standards, to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement data.

  • Operate a Company-owned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of measurement facilities in accordance with industry standards and EagleClaw procedures/policies.
  • Perform / Witness testing and calibration of owned and 3rd party meters.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, operate, maintain, inspect, test, and calibrate electronic flow meters, associated measurement and communications equipment (gas and liquid), control and relief valves.
  • Collect gas and liquid samples in accordance with policy and Industry Standards.
  • Maintain measurement and typical pipeline equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including critical safety and regulatory documentation as it pertains to measurement systems.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
  • Must be familiar with orifice meters and electronic flow meters with some gas analysis experience.
    • Some experience with ultrasonic and Coriolis meters preferred.
    • Experience with Gas/Liquid Chromatographs preferred.
  • Competent knowledge of various types of EFMs and test equipment.
  • Experience with testing and sampling input software preferred (such as TESTit).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
  • Available for on-call 24/7 as needed.
  • Outdoor work required with exposure to elements
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone, video conference or other means of verbal communication.
