Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position serves as the field level Subject Matter Expert (SME) in complying with environmental regulations applicable to company operations. The position supports the ECMV assets including the gas plants, compressor stations, and the associated gathering systems. This position will assist operations in achieving ECMV EHS goals with respect to environmental compliance in our operations. A proven ability to solve problems, learn new material, adapt to change and be an effective communicator are key traits to success in this position. This position reports to the Director of Environmental Compliance.

  • Assist management, operations, and project/maintenance teams as required to assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate rules and regulations pertaining to operational environmental aspects and impacts.

  • Assist with organizing, planning, implementing, and auditing the environmental programs and policies for the operation, ensuring compliance as required by regulatory agencies and corporate policy.

    Ensure compliance with Title V operating permits and New Source Review (NSR) permits, including the preparation of semiannual deviation reports and annual compliance certifications.

  • Ensure compliance with wastewater permits and site water, including the oversight of sample collection, the labs used for analysis, the preparation and submission of DMR data, management of required written plans, and the reporting of noncompliance.

  • Assist with waste and remediation activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, including the manifests, and regulatory reporting.

  • Assist with the review of MOC’s for environmental impacts, including NSR compliance, and documenting necessary information to the file or helping to initiate the permitting process when required.

  • Ensure compliance with SPCC requirements and assist with spill response and remediation activities, as needed, including the facilitation of required reporting to applicable parties, including the TCEQ, and/or RRC.

  • Ensure compliance, gather data and facilitate reporting as required under numerous applicable regulations, including but not limited to CERCLA, EPCRA, SARA and State Superfund programs.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including but not limited to reporting releases to all applicable agencies and internal personnel.

  • Assist with being point of contact for both regulatory agencies and operations on required reports, payments, inspections, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with compliance audits, as needed, and assist in facilitating resolution of action items from findings of reviews, inspections, and incident investigations.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing and proposed regulations that affect the plant/compressor station/ pipeline site.

  • Communicate regular updates on EHS releases, permit deviations, and enforcement status to the Director of Environmental Compliance for Operations management meetings.

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining an effective filing system for all operational data to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to learn and comprehend the operating principles of natural gas compression and natural gas processing facilities.

  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an area of Environmental study or an engineering discipline;

  • Experience and certification in Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) and other gas detection methods;

  • 3 plus years of applicable industry experience in Environmental Compliance;

  • High knowledge base of State and Federal environmental regulations and standards applicable to gathering systems, field compression, natural gas processing facilities, and NGL/Crude pipelines, including experience working with Regulatory Agencies such as TRC, TCEQ, EPA, etc.;

  • Experience in gathering data for developing, and submitting compliance reports as required by applicable Regulatory Agencies;

  • Strong written and verbal communication;

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company;

  • Ability to understand and follow directions;

  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality;

  • Good time management and organizational skills;

  • Computer knowledge (MS Office).

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel to ECMV plants and worksites as needed;

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer;

  • Live within a 75-mile radius of company facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst will support the finance, commercial, and engineering groups in evaluating opportunities by building detailed models. This position will also play a key role in preparing presentations, managing project economics, and review and analysis of company and general industry trends. This position will have exposure to the Management Team at EagleClaw.

The Financial Analyst role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in Commercial and Operational meetings

  • Develop models to create volume and EBITDA forecasts

  • Preparation of various presentations for Board Meetings and

  • Industry Conferences

  • Generate project presentations and approval packages

  • Researching and analyzing energy development activity in the

  • Company’s focus areas

  • Prepare analysis on financial and operational results

  • Working with the commercial team on analysis and review of potential business development opportunities including acquisitions and greenfield developments

  • Ad hoc tasks, analysis and projects when required

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with emphasis on Finance, Economics or related

  • 1 – 4 years of investment banking, corporate finance, or business development experience in the energy industry, preferably focused in Midstream or Upstream

  • Demonstrated aptitude and success in financial modeling and analysis

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving capabilities

  • Ability to work in fast – paced environment with ability to quickly turnaround ad-hoc requests

  • Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity
